Before I was the founder of Superbloom, I was just a girl who loved to travel the world. I saw the sun rise over the Nile river in Egypt, I watched lion cubs play on the Masai Mara in Kenya, and I felt an overwhelming rush of gratitude as I stood at the top of Rainbow Mountain in Peru. Every new adventure came with its own set of treasures - a seashell here, a postcard there, but the things that seemed to keep coming home with me were pouches.
There’s a certain comfort that comes with having a specific place for everything that matters to you (and an added bonus if that place is beautiful). I keep my camera tucked away in a pouch that was handmade by an artisan in French Polynesia. When I pay for a coffee, I slip the change into a little silver pouch I found at a boutique in Lisbon. And when I’m looking for my headphones on a long flight, they’re most likely hiding in an elephant pouch I bought in Tanzania.

Maybe the love of pouches is just the love of organization in disguise. It’s the feeling of knowing your most treasured items are safe. It’s that same spirit that inspired me to build Superbloom. I wanted to create beautiful places for all the things you take with you. A place for everything, wherever you go.
